Ingredients make Biscotti

  1. You need flour.
  2. Prepare sugar.
  3. It's eggs.
  4. You need toasted nuts.
  5. You need raisins.
  6. It's vanilla extract.
  7. It's salt.
  8. It's baking powder.

Biscotti step by step

  1. Roast the nuts at 190 degress for 5 mins. Mixing them half way through.
  2. Pulse the nuts in a food processor or you can roughly chop them.
  3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  4. Whisk all the dry ingredients(flour, sugar and salt).
  5. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well. If the dough is too sticky add a bit of flour.
  6. Add in the nuts and raisins.
  7. Cut the dough in half and shape into logs (2 1/2 inches wide).
  8. Bake for 20 minutes. They should look a bit golden but still soft. Let cool for 30 minutes.
  9. Cut into 1/4 inch slices and bake again til they are brown and crispy all the way through (about 15 mind flip half way).
