Ingredients make Biscotti
- It's flour.
- It's sugar.
- Prepare eggs.
- You need toasted nuts.
- You need raisins.
- Prepare vanilla extract.
- It's salt.
- You need baking powder.
Biscotti step by step
- Roast the nuts at 190 degress for 5 mins. Mixing them half way through.
- Pulse the nuts in a food processor or you can roughly chop them.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Whisk all the dry ingredients(flour, sugar and salt).
- Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well. If the dough is too sticky add a bit of flour.
- Add in the nuts and raisins.
- Cut the dough in half and shape into logs (2 1/2 inches wide).
- Bake for 20 minutes. They should look a bit golden but still soft. Let cool for 30 minutes.
- Cut into 1/4 inch slices and bake again til they are brown and crispy all the way through (about 15 mind flip half way).
