  11. You need 1 Tbsp Oil for frying plus.
  12. You need 1/2 tsp Rai.
  13. It's 1/2 Tsp Turmeric.
  14. You need Ginger, Green chillies, garlic paste.
  15. Prepare 2 Tsp (5-6 chillies, 5-6 pods garlic, 11/2 inch ginger).
  16. It's 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice.
  17. It's 2 cups Besan/Gram flour.
  18. It's Hing 1/4 Tsp +1/4 Tsp.
  19. Prepare Green Chillies for serving and Pav.

Mumbai Ka Vada Pav step by step

  1. For Lasun Chutney dry roast all the ingredients and grind to make chutney along with salt..
  2. In besan add haldi and salt..
  3. Add water little by little and make a smooth batter and keep aside for 1/2 hour atleast..
  4. Mash boiled potatoes, add chopped curry leaves and in a small pan add oil rai and ginger garlic paste with haldi stir for 2 mins and add this to potatoes..
  5. Mix well with salt and lemon juice.
  6. Make balls of equal size dip in batter and fry the vadas.
  7. Serve hot with Pav and lasun chutney and chillies.
