- It's 1/2 Tsp Turmeric.
- You need Ginger, Green chillies, garlic paste.
- Prepare 2 Tsp (5-6 chillies, 5-6 pods garlic, 11/2 inch ginger).
- It's 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice.
- It's 2 cups Besan/Gram flour.
- It's Hing 1/4 Tsp +1/4 Tsp.
- Prepare Green Chillies for serving and Pav.
Mumbai Ka Vada Pav step by step
- For Lasun Chutney dry roast all the ingredients and grind to make chutney along with salt..
- In besan add haldi and salt..
- Add water little by little and make a smooth batter and keep aside for 1/2 hour atleast..
- Mash boiled potatoes, add chopped curry leaves and in a small pan add oil rai and ginger garlic paste with haldi stir for 2 mins and add this to potatoes..
- Mix well with salt and lemon juice.
- Make balls of equal size dip in batter and fry the vadas.
- Serve hot with Pav and lasun chutney and chillies.
