Ingredients cook Illusion vada pav
- It's For vada.
- It's 8-9 boiled potatoes.
- You need 1 tbsp oil.
- You need 1 tsp garlic paste.
- You need 1 tsp ginger paste.
- Prepare 1 tsp mustard seeds.
- It's 8-9 curry leaves.
- It's Pinch haldi ( turmeric)powder.
- It's 1 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
- You need to taste Salt.
- Prepare 1 tsp lemon juice.
- It's For batter.
- You need 1 cup besan/gram flour.
- It's to taste Salt.
- It's 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
- You need Pinch haldi(Turmeric) powder.
- It's Pinch soda.
- You need as needed Water.
- You need as needed Oil for frying.
- It's Dry garlic chutney.
- Prepare 6 tbsp grated dry coconut(gola)/ desiccated.
- It's 10-15 whole red chillies.
- You need 12-15 garlic pods.
- You need to taste Salt.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Lal mirch.
Illusion vada pav step by step
- Method

Roast grated dry coconut on low.flame for 1 min only. Colour should not change.Transfer it in to a plate.In same pan add whole red chillies and roast for 1 min.Roast everything separately. Bcoz temp is different for all the dry things.In same pan roast garlic pods till light golden with the shell. Don't peel the shell.Turn off the flame and take out in a plate
*All ingredients are dry roasted, no oil.
- Now in a grinding jar first grind coconut and take out in a plate then grind other ingds one by one and then mix all together and salt,kashmiri red chilli powder.and grind again..
- Now mashed the boil potatoes. Heat kadhai add oil.put heeng and red mustard seeds. Let it crackle add curry leaves. Then put garlic, ginger and green chilli paste.fry for a minute.add mashed potatoes, salt, haldi, redchilli powder, lemon juice and green coriander leaves. Mix well. Allow it to cool. Make lemon size balls.
Now mix all the ingredients of batter and make a smooth consistency paste with no lumps.
Now dip balls in to besan batter and deep fry it till golden brown…
- Serve with slit green chilli and mustard tadka.
