  2. Prepare 3-4 green chillies.
  3. You need 10-15 curry leaves.

  7. You need 1 tsp turmeric powder.
  8. You need 1 tsp hing powder.

  1. Make a paste using curry leaves, green chillies, garlic, ginger and coriander. The paste should be coarse not very finely grounded..
  2. Now in a pan heat 1 tbsp of oil..as it heats up add mustard seeds.let them crackle… Now add hing and urad dal and saute for a min…take off from the flame..to it mix the paste we made and the boiled potatoes alongwith salt,haldi powder, chat masala and lime juice. Mix properly..
  3. Make balls from this mixture… Meanwhile make a paste of besan with water adding a bit of salt, ½ tsp red chilli and ½ tsp garam masala….mix till the dropping consistency...
  4. Heat the oil for deep frying on medium heat….one by one dip the potato balls into the besan mixture and fry them till golden.. Take out on an aHeatbsorbent paper...
  5. Cut the pav into half..apply the garlic paste to it and saute it for a min…arrange a potato ball inside it…sprinkle some more chat masala….
  6. Your Vada Pav is ready...just add the fried green chillies on top and serve hot....
