Ingredients make Batata vada

  1. You need 3 boiled and mashed roughly potatoes.
  2. Prepare 1 green chilli +3 garlic chopped.
  3. Prepare 3 Garlic pods.
  4. Prepare 1 small piece ginger all crushed it.
  5. It's 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds.
  6. You need Few curry leaves.
  7. You need 2 tbsp Coriander leaves.
  8. Prepare to taste Salt.
  9. It's 1-2 Green chilli slit and fry.
  10. You need Some Oil for deep frying.
  11. You need 1/8 tsp Turmeric powder for potatoes.
  12. You need 1/8 tsp turmeric for gram flour batter.
  13. You need as needed Salt to taste for all.
  14. You need 3 tbsp gram flour.
  15. You need For garlic chutney:.
  16. Prepare 10 garlic cloves.
  17. You need 1 tsp oil.
  18. You need 1 tbs roasted peanuts.
  19. Prepare 1/2 cup grated coconut.
  20. Prepare 1 tsp white sesame seeds.
  21. You need 1 tbs red chilli powder.
  22. You need to taste Salt.

Batata vada instructions

  1. For potatoes : boil peel and roughly mash potatoes heat 1 tbsp oil in a a pan add mustard seeds when crackle add crushed 1 chilli, 3 garlic pods and ginger add and saute till raw smell goes add curry leaves.and saute add boiled mashed potatoes add salt and little turmeric saute for one minute and mix all well. Now add fresh coriander leaves and switch off the gas,.
  2. Keep aside to little cool now make ball from this potatoes mixture make 6 ball from them.on the other side take gram flour in a bowl by adding salt and little turmeric make a smooth lump free batter it should be little thick to coat all vada well..
  3. Heat enough oil in a Kadhai dip ball in gram flour batter and deep frying the batata vada till golden brown.On the other hand make garlic chutney.
  4. In 1 tsp of oil saute garlic only saute for a minute add peanut,sesame seeds,grated coconut till golden brown lastly add red chilli powder and salt when little cool grind in the mixie grinder.
  5. Now assemble the pav first spread green chutney then garlic chutney, place vada and again garlic chutney on it little press it and serve with chutney and green chilli,yummy,mouth-watering batata vada is ready to eat enjoy with your family and guests green chutney is mostly available in all houses..
